Dallas, TX – July 16th, 2025 – Parrish Aviation Flight Academy is proud to announce it has received FAA Part 141 certification. This is a significant step towards the flight school's goal of constant improvement in training quality and opportunities for students.

What FAA Part 141 Means

FAA Part 141 programs follow rigorous, FAA-approved curricula and are subject to regular oversight and audit. The structured nature of Part 141 training allows for reduced flight time requirements compared to Part 61, making these programs ideal for:

  • Aspiring professional pilots seeking the most efficient path to their certificates
  • Students enrolled in aviation degree programs
  • International students who require Part 141 enrollment for visa compliance

A Reflection of Our Commitment

"This certification is a reflection of our singular focus to provide unparalleled quality of flight training," said Jack Parrish, President and Part 141 Chief Instructor. "We believe that if we're going to do something, we might as well give it our best."

Programs Offered

Parrish Aviation offers both Part 61 and Part 141 training programs to serve the full range of student needs.

Part 61 programs offer maximum scheduling flexibility and cover training from Private Pilot through MEI (Multi-Engine Instructor).

Part 141 programs provide Private Pilot through Commercial Single-Engine training under the new FAA-approved curriculum. These programs include stage checks, structured ground school, and clearly defined completion standards.

The Parrish Aviation Difference

Parrish Aviation operates primarily Cessna 172 aircraft maintained to the highest airworthiness standards. The school is staffed by well-trained, motivated instructors who share a strong culture of mentorship and leadership — led by Jack Parrish, a fourth-generation aviator, ATP, and NAFI Master CFI.

Located at Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD), Parrish Aviation is an official PSI Testing Center, allowing students to complete all FAA knowledge exams on campus.
